Learn how to use tags to organize service requests, jobs, or distinguish between different types of parts.
Tags can be a great way to help manage your workflow outside of BidClips system statuses. Tags are completely customizable and can be used in the Service Request, Job, or Parts areas to help you stay organized.
How to create and apply a tag
- Navigate to the object where you want to add a tag (Service Request, Part, or Job)
- Click the plus icon next to the label 'Tag'
- Click the plus icon in the blue menu bar
- Next, enter the name of the tag and choose a color
- Click 'Save'
- Once saved, the tag will automatically be checked. If that is the only tag you want to add, you can click 'Add' at the bottom of the dialogue box. If you want to add more tags at once, repeat the steps again to add a new tag or click any other tag to add it.
How to edit a tag
- Open the tag dialogue by clicking the plus icon next to the label 'Tag'
- Click the 'Edit' icon next to the tag
- Edit the title and color as necessary
- Click 'Save'
Note: Tags that have been edited will still show on the associated objects as the original tag that was added except the color will default to light blue.
How to delete a tag
- Open the tag dialogue by clicking the plus icon next to the label 'Tag'
- Click the 'Delete' icon next to the tag
- Click 'Delete Tag' in the dialogue box
Note: Tags that have been deleted will still show on the associated objects until they are deleted there as well. The tag will change colors to light blue.
